This Plastic Beach is the furthest level from any landmass on Earth; the most abandoned spot on the planet.
On 20 January 2010, the official Gorillaz website was closely revamped to suit the Plastic Seaside theme. Over a time period, a numerous number of short clips were posted on the positioning, mainly displaying various shots of a giant Plastic Seaside model backed by segments of new Gorillaz music. Out of the thirteen short clips, solely two of the clips had audio that would ultimately find yourself on the album. The tracks were “White Flag” and “Pirate’s Progress” (an prolonged model of the Orchestral Intro discovered on the album).
