Once you keep at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, you may be on the beach and close to Asilomar State Beach and Monterey Bay Aquarium. Unlike private collections which use their pictures as a supply of revenue, the photographic archives at Asilomar State Park are available to all – whether or not you are doing private family research, research in regards to the Asilomar Convention Grounds as a YWCA Summer season Camp, or analysis on the Juilia Morgan Architecture on site.
Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds is a tranquil oceanfront retreat cradled by pine forests and white-sand beaches throughout the cozy confines of a 107-acre California State Park. Asilomar Convention Grounds is at 800 Asilomar Avenue in Pacific Grove.
Across the street from Asilomar State Beach is Asilomar Dunes Pure Protect, where a landmark stile stands on the gateway to this preserve and the Asilomar Convention Grounds. Lots of the historic photos on show at the Asilomar State Beach and Convention Grounds Park Unit have been gifts of household albums, or copies of family pictures, donated to California State Parks.
Unlike private collections which use their photographs as a source of income, the photographic archives at Asilomar State Park can be found to all – whether you’re doing private family analysis, research in regards to the Asilomar Conference Grounds as a YWCA Summer season Camp, or research on the Juilia Morgan Architecture on site.
